Noob here, but great forum, basically it came down to the Lexus IS350 or the G35 coupe, and I'm going ahead with the g35, heres my issue though, I know you can get some great rates around this time because the 07 is coming out this fall, but I just saw the new look for the 07 sedan and I must say I do like the interior alot more then what it was before and am expecting similar upbeat changes for the coupe model.

Basically is it worth the wait to get the 07 model which is coming out this fall? I mean its 4-5 more months, the only problem is like the steal deal for the 06 at this time. I currently have a 04 Accord V6, which I dont mind either. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have any links showing off the 07 coupe? I know I saw one for the Sedan.

You know IMO, regardless of what the 07' will look like, I'd wait if you're content with your Accord. We're all pretty certain the 07' will have some differences from the 06' whether it being in interior or exterior. Also you'll feel better about having the newest G35 model.

you should wait for the the new body coupe in 07 or 08 but if you cant wait that long i would go for the is350. the g35 is way too common now and is becoming another high school car. The is350 is more expensive but it looks really good and the interior is so much better. and not that many people have it. you could put on a kit like the ing and make it really hot!

the first gen 35 might lose some resale value once the next gen coupe comes out. you could get the is350 and rock that while you wait for the next gen coupe.

 

its most likely 08, and trust me it will be worth the wait. its not even a question, wait for it. you already have a nice new car, its not like you're desperate to own it. wait

Still love my coupe but considering the Lexus myself. If there are mods to mess with the cpu the IS350 will be really fast without touching anything else, already faster than G stock. (if speed is your thing) Interior, nav Lexus is nicer. Too bad it doesn't come in a 2-door

 

The 07 coupe will be the exact same as our current 06 with possible minor interior changes. The new gen coupe wont be out till 08, most likely near end of 07.

 

if the IS350 had manual transmission i'd take that.. otherwise G35 all the way!
