1- 350z unrevised - w/ 3/8" spacer on rear to even out
2- 1.5-2
3- sporty feel. Seems fine to me, but when the car is loaded the lack of suspension depth is noticable.
4- cambers off. F/r kits comin soon
5- 10k?
6- fronts are fine for now, rears are q little leaky
7- coupe 19s on 245/40/19
iPhone pics for now...

Throw some coupe springs on and get an alignment

For the guys with the BC coils i got a few questions:

Hows height adjustability on both the front and rear?
What are the "rear extenders"?
How close to stock is the ride with 10/8k spring rates?
How long should these last(are they like struts that "blow"after use)?

Thanks everyone

1) Have you seen this done on an x?
2) Would there be a bigger gap up front then the rear like it does with a stock setup?
3) Will alignment be within stock specs w/o the use of camber kits?

Hi here gang,
I am gearing up to put BC coils on my G35x myself. There is a lot of talk about SPC camber kits. Have people been putting it in the front and rear? What have people found with the camber kits by BC racing

Cheers!

i lowered the car three inches. there is significant camber both front and rear. i think it is necessary unless you want to replace tires prematurely.

Hope this helps a little. Installed a set on a wrx two nights ago. assuming they're the same and they look it.

1. Awsome. Iike 6"s of options
2. No clue. sorry must be a g35x thing
3. I would think somewhere in the 30 settings you'd find something close to stock but you get coil overs so your car doesn't ride like stock.
4. They shouldn't blow like struts but any mechanical part can be damaged. (think you get a 1 year warrenty) Is that right?

104 pages and this is your question. Every shock coilover will blow someday. The stock stocks are meant for the stock springs which on average will last about 50k miles depending on driving conditions. If you drop with just springs you reduce that 50k by about 1/2 so now you will probably get maybe 25k miles depending on how much you drop.

Coilovers are like your stock springs and shock it doesn't matter how much you drop you just have the ability to drop and not worry about blowing out your shock as much. Its all about matching the shock and spring that's all.

I've been on here for about 5 years and waited and waited for coils. BC racing is not the best but I can tell you my car looks good lowered about 2'' all around on my winter setup(coupe 19's) and rides better than stock. If I wanna drive it hard I just make a few clips and stiff as hell and handle as hell.
