When I first got the car, the lights of the odo looked almost exactly the same as the 'Check Engine Light' on my old vehicle! It used to stall every once in a while unexpectedly, so when I'd catch the G's lights out of the corner of my eye, it gave me that 'oh, crap!' feeling for the first few weeks. [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img] Now that I'm used to them, I think they're okay.

Why mess with just plain simple white on black? It's classic...

 

Those big orange boxes look like the warning lights on my previous TL. Still catches me every now and then. The instrumentation in orange isn't particularly elegant. And it's impossible to see at dusk with lights. Slightly OT but I really like the center dashtop readouts (placement).

I hate the orange lights as well....It almost scared me away from buying after looking at the orange lights and the boss stereo system! The orange inside a bmw looks much better than the G for some reason, and I would go with blue lights if possible.
