Computer-cut Tint?

Has anyone been able to find a tint dealer online that sells computer-cut tint? I cannot seem to find anyone that has the templates for our G35's... I have used computer-cut tint in the past on a few other vehicles and I loved it!

Thanks

Frank-

Re: Computer-cut Tint?

straighter edges and exact fit. easier installation.

when you use bulk tint from a roll, the edges are cut after the tint is on the window using the window edge as a guide. edges end up relatively straight, but not perfect straight. at least this is what we did 15+ years ago.

Depends on the install pesti. If they take your door panels off, it can go down quite far. If they don't, they'll usually just tape the rubber back and cut the tint to go down 1/2 to 1" or so.

Re: Computer-cut Tint?

The way that you get the tint down in there is that you use a plastic tool (something like a old credit card) and press it down into the door so that the gasket is pressing against the window. That way there is an extra 1/4 -1/2 inch of space to apply the tint. and you don't have to take the door apart! Let it dry a day or three. wind the window down and when the window goes back up it will flip that rubber back up with it..voila!! A trick from the old trade...

Re: Computer-cut Tint?

Its actually a beautiful thing - Pre-Cut Tint.... So easy to do and the results are way better then any shop can do. I had found a guy on the internet that did it and I bought many kits off of him a few years back but I cant find him anymore :-( ... Even the rear window comes in one perfect cut piece..
