I noticed that there is light coming from the slight gap between the glove compartment door last night when the headlights are on. I opened it and couldn't find any little button that would shut it off when the door closes. Is there one, or does the light just stay on all the time? In other words, is my door not closing properly and not shutting off the light?

 

no sir, it does NOT.

 

You mean the light should shut off? Where is the switch that shuts it off when the door closes? My door closes fine and the gap is only visible when the light shows through it a little at an angle. Thanks.

 

.... Search.... and no, it doesnt turn off. If your lights are on, your glove compartment will stay on as well.

No, and there is a crack too. There is a fix for it though. Look around.
