needs some help from my bros on tire size with coilovers

Ok, so every one says on a sedan with 8.5 20's I should run 245/35/20's right? Well thats not working out for me.I want to run slammed on my Tien cs coilovers(thats why i got em) and thats just to much tire!! it rubs on all 4 corners. So I robbed my wifes wheels till i can get it figured out shes rolling a really aggressive wheel/tire combo 225/35/20 on 8.5's.I like it but would prefer the tire to come a little more out to the edge of the wheel. What size tire would you run?

Oh by the way I did roll the hell outa my fenders ,to much really cause I pushed the freaking trim screws into the finder lip and have 2 cool little points on my finder lips hotos to come later of this crime .

Thanks,
Darrick Phillips

245/30. I had my car slammed on Basics with 245/35/20's on an 8.5 +40 wheel and it rubbed the paint off the front inner fender when going up driveways and such. a shorter tire would fix that problem.

+1... i didnt notice before that he didnt state what size the rear's were... if they're an 8.5 with a 245/35 and the car is slammed with the fenders rolled.. there's no way in hell it should rub.

Well....it doesnt show on the back of the rim? A sticker?

Being as how you are dumped on the coilovers, something you could do is dial in more negative camber but you'd probably have to be running a real low offset to rub with 8.5s in the rear.

Can you snap some close up pics?
