^ if you own a car, a cheap pocket scan tool should almost be a must own now.

They only cost like $20, the cheap ones that can pull the code. Even if autozone does it for free, you dont have the wait in line.

^I have a netbook and USB scantool.

I'm hoping someone with a 04-06 can help me out. Trying to figure out exactly what temperature the OEM electric fans switch on.

^No.

If we did, then we would have to call driveways parkways, carrots oranges, apartments togetherments, buildings builts, and government anarchy.

Man there are other people just as bored as I am on a sunday afternoon. I've never actually had anyone take the time to answer one of the most riddiculous questions ever posed to me by a college professor.
Ahh the random crap one thinks of at work on a weekend.Gallagher stole the watermelon and hammer thing from me, a lawsuit is pending. Nice rides by the way.

^LOL at the college professor thing

Reminds me of an email back in the day that cracked me up about things college professors can do just to screw with students' heads.

One of them was math professors for no reason force your students to do all work in base-11 and show their work

I'm glad my Electronics professor doesn't make us show all of our work when we have to calculate everything.

^I have an 03.0 with a mechanical clutch-fan.
I'm doing an electric fan conversion.
I'm also swapping from the 03.0 180 degree thermostat to the 170 degree that came on models equipped with electric fans.
I need someone with a scan tool that reads sensor data to monitor the coolant temperature and see at what temperature the e-fan starts and stops, so that I can set my variable thermostat accordingly.
