What do you think about them saying I could wait up to a year? That makes me a bit uneasy to wait that long. Maybe I'm just brainwashed that I have to change it every few months.

I deleted my other post and thought id try it in here.
I just ordered new wheels, they are 19x9 +35 in front and 19x10 +45 rear. My question is what tire size do you all recommend? I have spend the better part of this past week searching, reading and looking at various set-ups on here and I am not sure what size to go with.
My current set-up is 19x8 +25 w/225/40/19 F and 19x9.5 +40 w/255/35/19 R. I like how the rear tires (BFG's) fit on the 9.5" rim. It tapers in, but is not stretched. I posted here instead of the Wheel/tire forum because 90% of the posts pertain to coupe's and I want advice from sedan owners such as I.
The obvious set-up is 245/35/19 F and 275/35/19 R but my concern is that the rear tires are about 3/4 of an inch taller (26.5R vs 25.7F). For a sedan have any issues been seen when running a larger rear tire? I know the coupes run up to 2.5% difference from the factory. I have been playing with sizes and came up with a 235/40/19F with a 275/35/19R...would that create too much of a stretch on a 9" rim and look funny with the rear not so stretched? They are almost the same diameter.
Last question. What if I took my current 255/35's and put them on the front 9" rims? Would that create a bulging tire compared to the rears?
Any advice is welcomed....pics of similar set-ups would be awesome. I have clicked on page after page after page and I am still in limbo.

Question about spacers, I am running 20x8.5 w/40 offset on 245/35/20 on all four corners and dropped on Eibach Pro springs. I am considering spacers to bring the wheels out just a tad. My questions are: Will this require a fender roll? What size spacer to use? And will I need extended lugs? Thanks in advance.

In comparison I ran a 19x9.5 255/35 rear + 40 offset with no problems and 225/40 on a 19x8 +40 mm offset ( then added a 15mm spacer to make it more flush so esentially a 25mm offset). How low do the springs drop you?

Yeah, I picked up the car in May so I just wanted have a check up on it and see if my set up works. I used GTX + Purolator Pure One. I just switched to Syntec to see if it's any better.

You could wait up to a year, it just depends what oil filter you use
Many people do Year OCI's, as long as your not getting contamination or coolant and the filter is working, you should have no issues running for a year.
But its up to you, There can only be problems if you wait too long.

You should get good results with syntec, probably a bit less sheer.

New question: Anyone have any recommendations for a portable jack (to store in the trunk) to change tires? I've heard a few horror stories about the factory jack collapsing when changing a spare.

Yeah I mean, Castrol GTX is pretty cheap plus the purolator pure one is cheap as well. So about $20-25 insurance is worth it to me. Maybe I'll up to 4 months but I'll play it by ear.

This distance is based on your driving so it might not he the same for everyone

I think with a 10-15m spacer you shouldnt need to roll the fenders.
In comparison I ran a 19x9.5 255/35 rear + 40 offset with no problems and 225/40 on a 19x8 +40 mm offset ( then added a 15mm spacer to make it more flush so esentially a 25mm offset). How low do the springs drop you?

I've bought one from walmart before, some $20 one, but eventually it started messing up. The harbor freight one isn't that heavy. The handle is a two piece one and comes off. I've seen this fit in a coupe with ease.
