what did most people use to black out their window trim? I just bought the JDM window visors and have heard of some people using electrical tape, but the trim around the rear window is to big. So what have people been using? vinal?

paint.

6 years ago some guy dared to be different: https://g35driver.com/forums/interio...g-handles.html

As you can see from the thread (lack of posts/replies) - not many people were into the "black out" window trim thing back then - painting the window trim (or door handles) was unheard of (as was vinyl, tape or any other method)... but I was on a quest for more "sport" less "luxury"... in those days the G was new and most owners were "refined" and liked the "classy" look of the polished aluminum

It was a few years before the concept caught on... and now its a popular mod (mine has been two other colors since the first time I did it)...

BTW, the pics in the linked thread got fubar'd during a server crash back then... it was smoked anodized color (there are other pics out there somewhere)... then gunmetal, then what they are now, body color (Porsche Meteor Grey Metallic)

Ah the good 'ol days

^Check eBay. Even if you don't find it, there's a seller on there that's a junkyard with a bunch of G35s. Give them a call, they might have one.

^ Yours are worn out? Better off buying new struts Tokio .. something they are popular on the forum. Check the suspension Vendors section.

You can also look for 350z Shocks.

Are all the pumpkins that are a 3.5 final drive a VLSD pumpkin? I guy I know is selling one out of his 2006 Z but he says it's an open diff. I wasn't aware that they came with an open diff and a 3.5 FD. What's a the going rate for it with VLSD?

Also, anyone have a failure with their OEM climate control? Friends of mines keeps popping in auto mode....
