the underside of the front crossmember, for the undershield.... I tried an extraction bit but it just kept spinning.... thats why I am asking for any other tips

 

^Aren't there like 4-5 places the undershroud bolts along there? You don't really need all of them... actually, if you end up getting an aluminum one, you can totally get buy with just bolting it in two places

 

there are 4 bolts along the back side.... one of tabs on the plastic broke, and now I have a sheared off bolt on a second... rocking two bolts on the plastic undershroud!

 

^oh ok.... yeah, only two with plastic might be a bad idea... :/

Maybe a reverse thread bit? You can get drill bits that are cut in the other direction, you put them in the drill, and set it to turn the wrong way (which is actually the right way because the bit is cut backwards)
It will start drilling a hole in the bolt, but if it just happens to catch or snag or anything (as a drill bit often does) it will usually unscrew the bolt. If not, once you have a hole drilled in it, you can then use an actual bolt extractor, which also kinda looks sorta like a bit, only it's actually designed to snag/grip into the drilled hole.

I was thinking of getting the strafe hood for sedans with the vents like SD genius has do you guys reccomend it? The material its made of how will it last through the seasons? Is there any protection under the vents to stop moisture/rain/snow from reaching the engine

 

05 G Sedan 6MT. Hearing a "thump"/"click" when I turn my steering wheel. I'll back out a space, stop, put it in 1st, turn the wheel in the opposite direction, then I get the "thump/click". I think I heard it for the first time on Thursday. The last mod I did was the tokico dspec and stech mod 2 months ago.

Any ideas?

Also, has anyone ever lengthened the wires on the MAF?

lol, then yours wasnt too bad, some people have it almost filled to teh brim with oil!

 

Thanks for the info Andre, I changed my spark plugs 2months ago but I never noticed any oil in any of them so I guess I'm lucky, I'm at 100k as of now
