well all I was told is an Acura TL-S and a G35... so if more accurate numbers are needed just google em w/ the right cars. I already put my money on the G cuzza the weight difference, but if im wrong and his G is a newer sedan then it will have the rev-up, soooo it will still be faster. but i guess if its an older TL-S then it may be lighter... idk, really dont care, not my race

EDIT: btw i posted this simply to show that you can get answers via google in a matter of seconds, of course skill and mods will come into play but some people dont know cars at all... if i were to ask my wife if she thought a Honda S2000 or a koenigsegg ccxr would win in a race she would have no idea, but a simple google and she would see that the koenigsegg would 99.99999% of the time blow the S2000 out of the water...

Secondly, do the 2004 OEM brembos come with stainless braided lines from the factory?
best bet for the arm rest (or any part of it) is salvage yard... the car has been out so long now that there should be some around...

04 didnt have Brembos - those came in 05... and no, they do not come with braided steel lines (they arent very expensive after-market though).

Yes.

Actually, they'll even fit WITH the bumper on... they'll just leave gaps.

If you look closely at the headlights of an 05/06 right beside an 03/04, you'll notice the 05/06 lights kinda 'dip-down' into the bumper a lot more, whereas the 03/04 are more straight across the bottom.
There's a couple pics floating around somewhere of an 05/06 with the bumper and everything on, but with 03/04 headlights.
It doesn't look good, but is a perfectly reasonable stop-gap solution while you wait for your lights to be done.

I went to a track near work and decided to do a couple of pulls with my cousins 2010 charger SRT. I took him in 1st and 2nd gear easy. Into 3rd, he began to pull and literally put buslengths on me. What the hell is up with 3rd and 4th gear? Now the real question... Is there any way a g37 coupe or sedan can keep up with this car? I did beat him in an 1/8 mile drag once at a track. I'm kinda disappointed lol

SRT (as in 8 cylinder HEMI)?... if so, no - a 6 cylinder VQ wont have a chance... did you mean SXT? if so, yes you should be able to beat him/her (especially with bolt-ons & a tune) - possibly not by shifting into 4th gear... you need to rev out every gear and finish in 3rd.

^ +1 on the SRT and SXT.

SXT is a "high output" v6 last time i looked it made about 200/200 ish.

SRT on the hand is another animal. It SHOULD be like a low 400hp monster. Running 13's.

I'm not big into them but when people post numbers i tend to glance. But with if it was a SRT which it sounds like since it beat you buy buses, he probaly couldn't get traction in first and 2nd, he hooked up on 3rd/4th and still spanked you.

Pretty much its tough to beat most performance V8 models. Seems like every one of them can run a low 13 and 12.5 with minor bolt-ons. It can be done but those V8 make so much power on so little money and now you put in V6 TT cars as well. An NA v6 will have to make SERIOUS power to do something

3rd gear on 5at takes forever in the 1/4 mile lol, I dont need to shift to 4th.

if that is the case, the 12mm is the right size. factor in rust and other corrosion. take the socket and give it some taps with a hammer it should snug up and not strip.

anyone have a 05-06 replica nismo bumper with a front plate mounted on it? I want the bumper but i live in a front plate state. I just wanted to see how that looks VS getting an OEM bumper and the replica front lip instead.

^Yep. Also, it's a good idea to soak those bolts in PB-Blaster for like 30 mins prior to trying to remove them.
