I am going to be getting wheels like this but in 18x8 18x9 38mm offsets

My question is on a lowered sedan(not slammed) what would be a good tire size. Mind you this is my daily and I was never into the slammed and stretched tire look so I am not going for that. I just want some not overly beefy tires but something that will look nice. Reason for going for these wheel sizes is mainly price on tires not the price of wheels.

I was thinking 245/40 for the rear and 225/40 for the front. Might even drop down to 35 all around.

225/40 and and 245/40 would be good. That's what I ran on my 18s or you could do a 255/35 in the rear

So I am in kind of a dilemma, and have a question. I have looked through countless pages of stance threads and am wondering what you guys would do.

The wheels I really want come in only this size offset combo. 8.5/10 et +30/+38. I am worried about the 10" wheel and how much it's going to poke because I think it will.

This is my car with a 17" 350z wheel in the back. That wheel is an 8" wheel with a +33 offset.

I though that was a fairly flush wheel. Now the question is should I just run to fronts of the wheels I plan to get? so 8.5" et +30 all around. That would make the wheel stick out 9mm more than the 350z wheel in the picture. Or the 10" wheel would make it stick out 20mm more than the 350z wheel if I did my calculations right.

To all you guys that know about stance what would you do in my situation. I daily drive this car and don't want to have issues with rubbing or anything. I plan to roll my rear fenders regardless but DO NOT want to have to pull them or anything like that. Just a gentle roll.

just go with the 8.5 +30 all around...you will have to run negative camber to make the 10 make your car not look like a truck in the rear especially if you aren't dropping it anymore than it is now

That's what I figured and I don't want to run negative camber, I want to be within factory specs. And I don't plan on dropping it any lower than it is for a while. It's on Tein springs, I might go with some coils but it wouldn't be until after the wheels.

Because with the 8.5 out back it would be about flush am I correct?

Yes it would make it flush but what matters also is the tires that you are gonna be running

Haven't really gotten that far. Would you run something the same all around? Like a 245/40/19 or something staggered?

Any suggestions on what sizes to look for?

since your gonna be running a square setup i think it'd be pointless to stagger the tires and on an 8.5 i don't think a 245/40 is necessary....i'm running a 245/35 on a 9.5 up front and it rides well i think you could get away with 235/35 all around or if you want more comfort go with a 40 sidewall

might sound like a dumb question, i'm switching from oem nonsport brakes to akebonos, and i'm trying to order SS brake lines, but there are the options of brembo or non brembo. i know i'm not going to a brembo kit, but it is still a larger kit, and i'm not sure if there really is a difference between the two kits.

how does one go about changing the bulbs for the rear doors. the ones in the ceiling, that cover isn't being friendly.

265/40 on 8.5 +33 with OEM spec camber is a little poke for the rears. But 245/45 is a little tuck for the fronts, but my camber is off in the fronts. No A-arms yet.

I was under the impression that you either had Akebono's or Brembo's. I thought Akebono's were stock... hmm...
