I wouldn't say eww but I do agree with you on wanting a fastback more. I was just being more realistic with my dreaming fastbacks are harder to come by and when you do, they cost a lot more.

The first car I saved up for and bought was a 65 mustang. I still kick myself for selling it

Beggars can't be choosy. I'd be happy with either

The regular DE motor and Rev-up are very very similar but have a few differences. Allowing different rev limit a little more power but less torque. Also I believe thier timing cover is a little different in between them.

The HR motor is the dual intake motor and more horsepower than both of the DE motors. It is a very different in many aspects.
after doing some research it turn out that the "safe" rev limit on the standard DE isnt 6.6k, but its actually 7.1k, so did Nissan just change something on the ECU and sell the Rev-up as something "new"?

Edit: and thanks too btw!

Max safe rpm and max rpm are different, non revup motor peaks at 6.1,-6.4k so why move the limiter too much more? There are reasons but Nissan decided on that.

Also, there were several changes to the engine design.

no, it's been proven that the max safe for the non-revup is 7.1, now I guess they could have done it to make the engines last longer, so even the spirited driver's cars last...

If i can find that "research" ill post it

If you remove the spring mount completely, you'll probably introduce some pops / rattles / etc...

Is it a bad idea to cut my spring mounts?

Had my front wheels off today to change some bulbs and noticed that the inner top corner (in the wheel well) of my clear corners is rubbed off from my wheels. I'm only running 18x9 +38, which isn't the most aggressive in the world. Thankfully it looks completely normal unless you look inside the wheel well. Anyone else have that problem?

Has it been done?
And if so has anyone experienced those effects?
