^ yep, the main reason Id never try anything different. Fluid is cheap in respect to how much the transmission costs.

Does anyone know if a Mt. Fuji front grill emblem from an 05 G35 Sedan will fit an 03 G35 Sedan?

Im great at getting things done on driver when I have a prelab to do...lol,

I know that for the Nissan hamburger emblems they advertise that it fits 03-06 G35 Sedans, So I can only assume they have the same pins, but it doesnt hurt to double check

Just an FYI, you can't just swap out the emblem for a Nissan Hamburger. You have to buy the JDM grill.

you're absolutely right, you CAN run other fluids, but you shouldnt. Just like you CAN fill up with Plus instead of Premium fuel, but knocking WILL occur later on down the line... and is you engine really worth the $3 you saved while filling up that tank?

I assume you guys are talking about sedans? cuz the V35 coupe hamburgers are a direct replacement.

yes, the voltage stays the same, 12/14v BUT the current(amperage) differs. the 55w ballasts will draw more current, but nothing I would be worried about. even at an 80w increase, you should really be fine. The largest power draw with ballasts is when you turn them on, theres a large current draw to get the things fired up. thats why you shouldnt flash your high beams if you have HIDs, because the repeated large current draws is hard on the ballasts. I never use my OEM alarm via the keyfob either, I almost beat my last roomate after I saw my HIDs flashing for 30 seconds lol

my fogs are bixenon, but unless I turn them off and then flash my highs, the ballast is still getting those current spikes...

^True, but I normally don't run with my foglights on. (mainly for that reason)
One day I'll get around to re-wiring it where they stay on with the headlights.

Really? I have to keep mine on, I hate how our cars look with only the main lights on, need to have the fogs on too! I never really use my high's anyways though, the halogen bulb is just to dull compared to my 6k K's...
