If you do put your stock air box back on, I would recommend doing a really precise MPG measurement first with the JWT, reset ECU, full tank to full tank, same station, same pump, no 'flooring it' etc... then again with the stock air-box same exact procedure, same driving conditions, same temps, and report back.

I don't think anyone has ever done much toward applying "scientific method" to measuring how different intakes affect MPG, it was only recently that sexyrob did a full-scale test of performance value.

Honestly, I don't have the time or funds for a test like that, school would hate me for that. I just know it's different from the normal rate of change of the gas needle. It would be a worthwhile test, but there are too many variables and parameters that cannot be controlled in a test like this to apply the scientific method. Heck, I'd even take humidity into account just cause I'm **** like that

I know all about Rob's dyno test, considering I was there

And no flooring it!? Asking a G owner not to floor it is like asking Congress and the House to agree with each other


Dang, you guys were pretty hardcore back in the day lol
