Random Little Question Thread
Recommend every time you fill your gas tank or sooner, you check it.
Keep in mind, you want to check after you're done filling up, so the engine has time to cool down and the oil has time to settle back down into the pan so you get a proper reading.\\
Also check Power steering and brake fluids, washer fluid, and your wiper condition.
As I was writing it I was thinking that, a fill up isn't long enough on this thing.Ideally the car should sit for longer than that. Our engines especially seem to need to sit longer than 'average' to give an accurate reading, don't know the reasoning, but it's important to note.
I don't know why they're like that, but it pissed me off when I first got the car and figured out that it had to sit for close to a half hour before it would get a decent read.
I've found it useful, since I park on a level surface at work, to just check it at each "paycheck"

my friend is selling some megan resonated test pipes for really cheap. I want to get some more power out of my car, but worried about getting nasty rasp. i currently have mr hr y pipe and megan oe-rs exhaust, and the sound is beautiful. i don't want to ruin the nice sound it has...thoughts? worth it?

Got to be really careful with test pipes on a VQ, I've heard many exhaust ruined by TP.
That being said, it's hard to go wrong with ART pipes, one of my very favorite VQ exhausts of all time is a 350z with the shockwave and ART pipes.

Yep, but I hear people say the ART pipes having issues with cracking?
This may be totally out there but im curious. What is, is there, proper etiquette to acknowledge my fellow G drivers seen on the road? Do you give them the Ali G "westside" hand gesture or what I like to call "wicked". I've only owned mine since February. Should I join a club?
Im going to see if I can get a good answer here before making a thread.
I just bought a set of OEM 19" Rays from a coupe.
I also have a set of OEM 17" wheels that came with my 2003 sedan.
I need a set of lug nuts that will fit both.
Here are my wants:
Locking lug nuts
Blue anodized / cap (If blue isnt around I would like black)
I wouldnt think it would be that hard but its tough finding nice lugs for OEM wheels.

Coworker of mine got some two sets of Rotora BBK's from a Civic. 4 pot I believe but it's a possibility that it's a 6. I have to confirm. Wondering if I get brackets for them, would they fit the G? Also, worth it over stock brakes? And lastly, possible to use one front for the fronts and the other front for my rears? I'm not concerned about whether it's worth buying them because if I did buy them, it would probably be for dirt cheap, by dirt cheap I mean nearly free.
Need some advice, have ~2000 for mod money. I'm considering purchasing flawless condition 350z track edition rays powdercoated gunmetal without tires for 1000. Add in tires and that's 1700. Would you guys get cheaper rims (like coupe 18s) and have money for other things, or would you buy the rims? Thanks
