Of those two color choices, red is the winner hands-down.

Needs spoiler delete/trunk swap

Looking so fly otherwise, SO fly dude, love it.

I like the turquoise idea more, Red/blue are so overdone, and the car is a 'richer' colour, Red doesn't really suit it IMO.

Not that it will look bad, I just like the scheme you have in mind
BUT I'd suggest a darker version of Turquoise, the ones posted are more "teal" than Turquoise.

Fog lights are built in to the high beam

And I think they look out of place, our bumper doesnt really have a good spot for them

I think unless you have a Kurookie or similar, fog lights don't mesh well with the bumper as DVG said

If this was a question about which intake makes more power, it'd be wise to go with the consensus. But since this is just about which color to go with, I'd go with turquoise simply because everybody else said red. Looking at this from a strictly statistical standpoint, the fact the majority says red tells me that if they have money to upgrade their brakes, most other silver cars with gold wheels will most likely have red calipers as well, making your silver car with gold wheels look just like the other few with that same color pattern.

For me its more important to look good than look different, especially since seeing another car that even remotely resembles mine (IRL) is very very slim. I understand where you're coming from though

thank you EVERY ONE for your input! the only thing i have to do to make this decision is convince myself to go with red!! hahaha

Dofu.. it was my original plan to go with turquoise/teal, but looking at my car as a "whole" it would kinda throw it off even though my GOLD wheels on DESERT PLATiNUM already kinda throws it off IMO.... I do understand where you are coming from.... i still may go Turquoise just bc my heart was set on them and Turquoise would still definitely look GREAT with that tone of GOLD and would definitely POP more than usual. Going Turquoise will keep the "EYE CATCH" appeal consistent with GOLD Wheels and the RED would go with consistency with the scheme of me G.

all my Chrome trims are color matched now and my door handles will be color matched as well so from a sleeker look with the color match i think any of those colors as long as i choose the right type of Turquoise/RED would look GREAT! so we will have to see where my decision comes down to.... IM SO INDECISIVE!!!!!!!!!!!! FML.

Thanks again guys for taking the time for your opinions..

^This 'ish.

Paint the center caps turquoise as well to tie it in

I think the gold looks great on the Desert platinum.

Honestly, I think Red is going to stand out, look out of place, I really, really think it will look aweful. You mentioned you were more comfortable with red because you think it would be more low key (rough quote) than turquoise, but I very, very strongly disagree.
The red will stand out like a sore thumb. At least Turquoise would probably suit the colour scheme.

The real issue is that you'd have to re-do engine bay colour, and I may guess that's the main subconscience reason you are thinking of going with red.
Granted Turqouise will be hard or custom to get in the engine bay couplers.... but my vote is stronly against red.

That's just me, obviously I'm the minority on this one.

^exactly how I look at it man... That's why I'm having a hard time with choosing especially when turquoise was the color my heart was set on...and Yes I agree with it tying in gold/desert platinum better but I don't want to redo my hoses and couplers! and can't powder coat my center caps bc it won't fit back in afterwards.

Any other color suggestions?? Black? Same shade of gold? Color match?

I really want to try to get them polished but I don't think it's possible?

You usually cant powdercoat center caps because they are plastic and melt...if yours are metal I bet you could force it

Black would be subtle, go for it if you want to only appeal to the trained eye. Somewhat of a sleeper look

I wouldnt do gold, I dont think it would look good if everything is the same colour. That is the conclusion I came to when I was considering pcing my rays red
