Ive just looked at a couple pictures, and yes it looks like you can see a bit of the top of the back half. Probably worth doing

Hey everyone, quick question. So the other day, my car (04 g35x) wouldn't start...but it tried to. Has new battery and spark plugs and was everything seemed to be fine...just wasn't starting and the VDC/Slip/AWD came on (safety mode). I took the key out then tried it again and everything was fine. Then today I started the car and it went into safety mode again...took the key out, then tried again and everything was fine; also there were no codes either time. Anyone have any ideas what's causing this???

Dumb question, but did i get a good deal on my G?

Hey guys,
I'm pretty new on here.
I bought my G35 about a month ago.

Don't get me wrong, I love my car but I am just wondering if I actually got a good deal
on it or not.

Its an 05 DG MT, with 32K Miles (sport package) and I got if for 16.4k

Either way I am very happy, but I just want some thoughts.

Thanks guys.

hid/ angel eye headlight unit

hey guys, im pretty new to this forum and i just got my 04 g35x. i'm currently trying to find somewhere i can order black HID headlight units, for an inexpensive price. i already have HID's but one of my bulbs turned pink and im just going to replace both headlights instead of the one bulb. if anyone could send me any links it would be much appreciated..

Exhaust gaskets are cheap, getting those nuts off is gonna suck though.

Is the car cranking very slowly but just didn't start? Almost sounds like a sensor to me, but I just wanted to ask anyways since it's more likely to be the starter and maybe something as simple as low brake fluid.

I don't think there are such a thing. All the black headlights are DIY factory headlights. If they did exist, you should be looking at a cost of over $700.

how can you justify a new headlight, that is going to be worse than the oem one, instead of changing a bulb

just get a new set of bulbs and black out your headlights. It will be cheaper and better

Jack up level (evenly) or on hoist, with engine cold, start up, move hands around the area before it gets hot (IT GETS HOT FAST!! DON"T BURN YOURSELF) and check for leaks that way.

Leaks in that area will be Black (sooted), so if you don't see soot, check it with your hand, if you don't feel anything the leak is probably elsewhere.

Hey 1st post for me. I was wondering if anyone know where I can get the plastic part that is circled in red. It seems like my car came without one.
