I called driveclean to confirm, starting Jan they will only do an OBD 2 check

This opens up the possibility of ART pipes for me.

Also, I am thinking I might get those "v3 triton" bulbs I was talking about before, as well as the back up plate shown in this video http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=407608845978584

What if I put another one of those plates on the front haha

Im excited to work on the car this winter

So I read that the 1/2" spacer gives gains of 12-14 hp. Is that for each one? I really want 500 hp so if I add 20 1/2" spacers (or one 10" spacer) would that do it?

This **** had me dying! Lmao. That would be $5000 worth of spacers. The engine cover definetly wouldn't fit, probably need to make a hole in your hood. The screws to bolt it down would have to be pretty long too lol. Has anyone tried stacking spacers? What would happen?

I was gonna make them at home out of wood to save on cost, I will only need to buy one and then make a template from that. I might varnish it after.

As for the engine cover, I already took it off to save weight

I dont think they make screws that long, so I was thinking glue + rope would hold it down pretty well

Im not sure what to do about the hood...I might cut the hood and put an upside down fish tank there, to insulate from the hot sun, and you can also see my engine, like one of the new corvettes

Maybe you'll get there, just once you floor it, it might take like 5 min for the engine to react lol.

Exhaust

I have an 04 g35 sedan and i was wondering if there is a cheaper way of making your exhaust louder. Because im looking on ebay and the prices are insane like the TANABE MEDALION TOURING CAT-BACK EXHAUST its like 600 dollars!!! so anyone know a cheaper least expensive way?

Megan Racing Cat back is cheaper like 450ish....

Or you could have an exhaust shop cut the resonator out of your mid pipe, get a different muffler etc.

Drill a 3/8" hole in the center of your resonator. Not joking.

The second way is to get just an Axel back, which is essentially a bolt on muffler for this car.

I had a hole I'm my old resonator until i changed it, albeit that was from rust, it did sound wicked. I'd the only goal is sound that's his best option
