This thread should be moved out of the sedan section, and into a general subforum.
Anyway, don't know if it's the same for coupes and sedans. But anyone know what size (diameter) of the bolt/nut that attaches the bottom of the coilovers to the spindle/arms/thingy.
May need to swap mine out since the head is stripped (going to be removing it with a stripped bolt remover) and would likely need a replacement for it.

You're GOING to pay for paint no matter what, so there's really no difference in getting it pre-painted, or painting it after you receive it. Personally, I would not buy brand new body kit pieces painted, since fitment might be poor (unlike preowned, where fitment is known), you'd likely need to cut it/modify it so much that it will need repainting all over again, making you spend double.

Since these cars are getting older, I'd also worry about color matching. You shouldn't have to worry about it, but it is still another thing that can go wrong.
Like mentioned before, you're going to pay about the same for the part to be painted whether the vendor sends it to you painted or if you find your own shop to paint it for you, so you might as well do the little bit of work and be sure you got it done right.
So I'm currently running revised 350z springs on new KYB GR-2's meant for the revised Z suspension.
Current spring rate
Front:314 Rear:427
I'm considering dropping another .5" on Eibach coupe pro-kits with the spring rate of
Spring rates in LBS initial/final front 229/337 initial/final rear 274/463
How much faster (I know it's only an estimate) would my shocks wear out due to the higher spring rate? Would this not be a good idea at all?
Thanks

Gear select windows next to AT shifter, supposed to be lit up?
Quick question that the search didn't really help me with:
In my new (to me) G35x the P, R, N, & D, don't light up when I move the shift select into each one. There looks like there's a little red piece that moves from one to the next, but at night it's not illuminated. Should it be? If so, can I just pull up on the plastic plate that surrounds the shift **** to expose the bulb? I don't want to break any trim pieces and it seems to me like these should be lit at night.
Thanks!
