No one checks the vendor feedback thread.

Just like no one checks the billions of subforums on here, like lighting subforums, etc.
If you're not linked to pertinent threads on this site they go without notice for the most part.

I complained about this when I first transitioned on this site, then just accepted the fact that it won't change. Now I pretty much solely respond in this thread and others I'm subscribed to.

Following every subforum on this site is impossible.

 

So instead of having everything seperated into sections, you prefer a compiliation of **** that everyone thinks is "important" thrown into one stickied thread? That would be a cluster fvck. If someone is too lazy to familiarize themselves with this forum or research specific vendors before purchasing from the Marketplace, then thats their problem. And from what I've seen on here so far, the vendor feedback section gets plenty of attention.

 

Chill dude! Just my personal opinion. There is such a thing as being way too 'over-organized', and IMO, that's where this site is at.

 

I am chill, sometimes my responses aren't as subtle as I intend so I apologize for that. For long term purposes though, the more organization the better.

 

For the most part I do agree, in the case of a lot of the subforums though, they're un-necessary due to such little action. Also, every sub-forum seems to have it's own set of sub-forums. It's a confusing hiearchy even to someone experienced with forums, let along to a newbie trying to learn/navigate the site for the first time.

IMO, no sub forum should have it's own subforum, that's too much. And all the subforums that recieve little action should be deleted, the minimal amount of threads in there can be consolidated into a General section easily. Sure it would log more useless posts in general sectin, but when someone doesnt get an answer when they post in the 'right' spot, what's the point? They're only going to post elsewhere anyways.

Again its just my 2 cents, and sorry I misinterpreted your reaction, I tend to post that way too (appear hostile when my intentions are anything but)

 

Well, if you don't count plastic, then the most cash I've had on me while in the sedan was $4500. But I bought a 240 and then deposited the rest of it back in the bank... so I didn't have that money in my sedan for very long.

 

By that token, $14,000 and change.

ok, so this is the random question thread...here goes, on a 04 g35 AT coupe, how is the dip stick supposed to look? does it sit below the air intake or it pops out above it? i cant seem to get a good reading on it and im starting to wonder if that dipstick is even from there, can someone post a pic? id greatly appreaciate it.

 

The dipstick has a yellow loop handle. (ring shaped)
VQ engines are a little weird though, to get an accurate reading, you need to wait a MINIMUM of 30 minutes after you shut the engine off (It's really better to wait about an hour without the engine running)
Also, make sure you are on very level ground.

And yes, the dipstick is a stupid design, it's not just you.

 

yea i know its a ring shaped i know where its at and all that, but the way it sits is whats odd to me, kinda difficult to explain it sits on the block it self doesnt have a tube running upwards and coming out above the engine, is that the way its supposed to be? thats why i wanted a pic. sorry for my ignorance im a newb to these cars.
