I do them all the time.. as long as you have an 04 or newer it works out great. You leave a couple HP on the table vs a dyno tune, but its a lot cheaper

Yeah my buddy has a Osiris tuner that he bought for his 350z but he never used it. I'm wondering if that will work for my 04 sedan. His is a 03 350z.

yeah that'd work. The cables and licenses are universal and will work on any supported vehicle. If you want to borrow the cable and plug it in to check your ecu part # I can send you the rom files for your ecu, just PM me

It's not horrible to have, I bought the whole kit for my G, it just isn't necessary. At the minimum, you want to aramid gasket and the spacer itself.

Its worth it as long as you don't pay a dealership to do it. http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/maintenance.php

If it was MY car, and I was doing it again, knowing what I know now, I would buy the cheapest used spacer I could find and put it in.

Factory Nismo Aero body kit. Very hard to find these days.

You can find aftermarket polyurethane (like factory) front bumpers that are much like this. I have a Hikkatadori (HD) aftermarket front bumper that I got from R1 Autoworks here on the forum. I'm very happy with the quality. It's very similar to the factory piece, but does not have provisions for a front license plate. Better in my opinion. It does still have the lower center vent which is good for G35X models. There are others that eliminate this center vent position.

Horribly atrocious gas mileage. Need Advice.

I'm just wanting to find out if any of you guys have had similar experiences. This is my first "luxury" car and I've owned it for about 2 to 3 months. The car in question is the 2006 G35X Sedan AWD. I've been noticing that I barely make it to 200 miles on a full tank of gas.

Yesterday I filled up at BP (93 octane; I only use BP). After filling I reset the odometer to keep an eye on the gas. Immediately afterwards I drove from Hackensack, NJ to Jersey City, NJ (20 mile (rounded up) from my house to my GF's place)). When I got there I had already burned through a 1/4 tank which sort of pissed me off a bit.

My girlfriend and I then traveled to less than 3 miles (2.3) to be exact to grab lunch and then went to a store not far away (let's say 4-5 miles) followed by going back to her place. I then drove back home (20 miles) and called it a night. I then traveled to class this morning which breaks down to:

Hackensack, NJ to Wayne, NJ (11.4 miles; 24 miles if I round generously) to and from home and school. I then left to pick up my daughter from school Hackensack, NJ to Garfield, NJ (5.5 miles; round to 6). After picking up my daughter I drove her to my job where she gets picked up by her grandmother. That trip is (11 miles; round to 12). As of right now I'm at a half a tank of gas (slightly under). At this rate I will need to fill up again tomorrow night if not Wednesday morning. This is pissing me off and I need to find the issue with this car.

** The mile figures are accurate as I put the exact address is Google Maps. Obviously I omitted the exact addresses on a public forum**

** I'm not heavy on the gas and use cruise control on the highway all the times and even on long stretches of roads**

** No, I don't have anything heavy in the trunk such as a body, etc **

** No, I'm not being cheap and I'm fully aware of gas prices. I know I was getting better gas mileage before as I was filling up every 4 to 5 days as opposed to the 3 days now.**

** I think my 300ZX gets better gas mileage than this car.**

** Yes, I checked my tire pressure and everything is to spec. **

I'm hoping this is something as simple as a tune up. My car is a tad over the 70k mark (see screenshot).

Any suggestions?
