Im having ecu problems. I wanted to know what model ecu i have. I called infiniti they said the production date was sept of 2002 and that the ecu that came with my car is 23710. My question is whats the dates where the ecu was changed. I have Non Doggy Door.

Most likely you have the black connectored more modern G35 ecu.
I have not come accross any non-doggies with the early gray connector maxima ecu

IIRC a lot of the changes from 03.0 to 03.5 happened it 08/02... so you just might have the newer ecu.

Call UpRev with that info and ask them if they offer support. If they do not, you have an early ECU.Originally Posted by kyemaul

This thread was def for you. I was waitin on your answer because a while back I read you talking about the ecu change and the production of the new ecu dates. I'm going to up to uprev for them to take a look at and tune the car hopefully the problem goes away.Originally Posted by NFSP G35

^Don't quote me, I'm not 100% sure
Your absolute BEST bet would be to simply get to your ECU and check the connector style.

How the heck do I do that. Lol where is the ecu located in the car is it under the driver seat?
