So this weekend I bought a 47" 3D LED tv... only way back home was lugging this thing in my 04 G35x.

I made it home, took the tv (brand new in box) out of my car only to find the back seat right passenger side window missing a bit of tint!!!

I called mechanics, tinters, and even Infiniti and all 3 said they may not be able to match the same tint (which is stock by the way) as it originally was.

What should I do?

 

Didn't know a sedan comes with stock tint. Just get something close, you wont tell.

 

replace all the tint by removing the old tint and reinstalling the new tint. thats all you can do.

 

Your gonna hav to put new tints.. And whoever said they can't match it r dumb..

 

Maybe get darker tint for both back windows since you will need to replace the one anyways. That way you wont have one odd tint in the back.

 

I just re did my tint.

My rear drivers tint was coming up so I just got them all done.

It was $175 in Texas. 3M film and a lifetime warranty. The guy has been there for 12 years and did a really good job.

SHOP AROUND!!! prices vary big time and you can bargain with them

 

Best way to ensure a match. Just get all the other tint and have new tint applied.

 

How bad is it? Can you show us the pix. If you want to watch the tint then replace them all. Of just replace that one and come very close to the other tints on the g.
