Did I just kill my engine?!
Hi all,
It's been a while since I've posted but I haven't really had much time. Anyway, I go to start my car last night. It was pretty cold but not outrageous. As soon as it starts it starts sputtering and shaking really bad. I turned it off immediately. Well, it hasn't started since. It turns over but will not start. No codes were thrown and when I hooked up my tester there doesn't appear to be anything wrong. The tester shows all the sensors working correctly and no stored codes. Is my engine done? It has 144K on the odo.

My starter went out on my old 03. It would just click like a dead battery, but then lights would come on after I put it back in acc. If its cranking and trying to start then I wouldn't say it's your starter.
When was the last time you cleaned your maf or throttle body? Last spark plug change. Fuel pump/filter change?
Just a couple ideas. But I'm not there to hear it or anything.

I ahd the exact same thing happen to my G two summers ago. I had it towed to the dealer and he said it fired rightup. The only thing that I could figure is that I always used the button on the door to lock/unlock. I locked it when it went on the flatbed truck. The dealer may have used the remote to unlock it. I've always wondered if it was some kind of security system built into the computer.
Try locking and unlocking with the remote.
