No start no power to ecu

So i have an early 03 sedan I purchased pretty cheap ($700) cause it had a bad transmission leak I swapped the transmission and replaced the dead battery and while i was replacing the battery i ripped out a kill switch that was in it not really knowing why it was on there but apparently it was jumping the ecu relay and without it the ecu has no power im not sure if that can be the ipdm being bad or there could be something else causing it i already swapped the ecu relay thinking it was bad but it didnt change anything

It has to be the EXACT same IPDM, same with the ECM. I wouldn't use the alldata infor for stuff like that, the FSM on NICOCLUB has all the correct data.

What pin at the ECM are you checking for power?

Also if you replace the ECM it has to be programmed by the dealership. They are NOT plug-n-play.

I dont remember the exact pins i had it saved on my phone but i cant find it but there is a pink wire that gets 12v with the key on which is from the ecu relay and it doesnt get power at the plug for the ecu i doubt my ecu is bad if the loss of 12v is at the plug not the ecu and if i did have to replace the ecu im a mechanic and can program my key to the new ecu myself at work

Well nvm the ipdm was definitely dead im surprised everything else worked with it the only thing that didnt work was the ecu relay but it ran and drove fine with the kill switch that jumped relay i got the ipdm swapped with one out of another 03 sedan same numbers on the ipdm but i have to wait until monday to try to start it the car is parked at the shop i used to work at cause i used the lift there to swap my transmission and they are on vacation until monday but heres a few pics of the old ipdm

Ahh yeah that's definitely water damage, clean and enlarge the cowl drains, they're probably clogged. Common problem and when the cowl fills with water it drains off onto the IPDM.

Well i got the key and tried to start it same thing so i can rule out the ipdm since i replaced it with a good one this is weird i thought for sure it would be the ipdm since the old one had water damage

New to the Game and trying to get her right
Can it be my ecu or something else

Ive recently bought a 06 sedan automatic and my main problem is it hardstarts! it tends to turn on the first crank but it doesnt even sound like a healthy turnover but when i drive it, its smooth (except for the sputtering and stalling that would happen before all the work) so far ive replaced the fuel pump, cams and crank and had the ecu programmed along with getting a new remote for my key, i called an infinity specialist and told him the same thing and he believes i gotta replace the ecu so before i spend that type of money anyone else have any other suggestions
