Headlight beam pattern?

Spent a couple hours cleaning my oxidized headlights. It was a night and day difference. I can finally see a beam pattern again. Prior to, there was minimal foreground and useable lighting.

But now I noticed the driver side has a hot spot higher than the beam pattern. Normally, there’s a gradual step up that lights signs for cars, but this hot spot seems higher and only on the driver side. Is this a normal pattern for an 05 sedan, or do I need to lower the driver side?

Could be slightly out of alignment. Or one of the filaments has moved in the actual bulb. These are 16-19 year old bulbs now if they are original.

I replaced my OEM D2R bulbs with these: https://www.hidconcept.com/products/...ulbs-pack-of-2

Noticeable upgrade and whiter light. 4800K light vs 4300K OEM. They also have a version that is 5000K.

not original bulbs. the previous bulbs were 6k and getting pretty dim so i replaced them with 4300k morimotos. the beam pattern had the same hot spot on both bulbs.

are the philips noticeably brighter?
