Love my car! I get that grin like I have sh*t in my mouth everytime I drive it hard. Woot woot!

Traded my '01 Maxima for an '04 AT sedan with premium package and sport suspension. I LOVE the way the car looks (except the rear end) and drives. However, I am very disappointed with all the squeeks and rattles. I immediately noticed clicking in the doors (well documented), and within 1000 miles it had developed the following problems:driver's seat was rocking and squeekingbuzzing from the back of the caran almost constant buzzing from the dashA squeeking noise from the front end

I've taken it to the dealership many times. The seat track was replaced, solving that issue, but absolutely no progress on the rattles. I honestly think they try, but as the technician told me, it is very difficult to troubleshoot rattles. At this point, I feel I need to let it go and live with it, but I'll never be satisfied with this car. Very disappointing for a luxury brand. And I don't think this is uncommon as every loaner I've driven is also full of squeeks and rattles (drove a brand new '05 last week).

I know that mechanically G's are very sound, but I find these so called "minor" issues very annoying. Granted, I am very picky, but this is my 3rd Nissan product ('07 Altima, '01 Maxima) and my experience with these cars was very positive. Both cars were rock solid after 50k miles - no rattles or problems.

Infiniti needs to improve their quality before they can really compete. They seem to spend all their development $$ on the drivetrain and neglect other aspects of the car. It is very disappointing to step up to a luxury brand and experience such annoyances. I LOVE the new M and would consider buying one if my G35 experience had been more positive.

Can you elaborate on the $60 upgrade? My complaint on the bose is that when playing a CD--I am very impressed with the sound; then I listen to the radio and it loses some clarity and oomph(by comparison)

Paint! (rock chips) and the front bumper doesn't pass the raccoon test! I like the Bose, just turn up the bass and treble to max.

We own the same car. I should of bought a Taurus. At least if it had as many problems as my car the $17k price tag would keep me in check.

I'm sorry, but the Taurus would have far more quality issues IMO and from my experiences with Ford!

6 months of ownership with 5k miles:

- Make ready damage (two visits)
- New gas tank assembly (two visits)
- Front end shimmie (three visits)
- Window rattles (two visits, one pending)
- Emergency brake failure (one visit)
- Center silver console loose (one visit)
- Trunk release problem (two visits)

Lemon.

Sorry you have had some glitches, and had to make trips to the dealer for fixes...but the point is, they were fixable. So, your car is not a "lemon". The "lemon law" so many people point to states that if your car has had major problems that cannot be repaired after repeated or "reasonable" times in the dealer service department...it may qualify for a lemon.

I have been in the car business for 25+ years and know all too well that these cars are made by human beings...and therefore are not perfect. Most cars have "teething" problems just like you describe, and most have many more than the Infiniti.

Trust me it's a lemon. Fixed or not.

For the price I paid in '03, I can't complain. More than enough car for the buck. I agree the '05 is better but try to negotiate $6,000 dollars off in '05. Good luck.

If you're so dissatisfied with your car...why not sell it, trade it, or do something with it other than keeping it and be unhappy? Surely there is some way to get a car you like, and would be absolutely perfect.

We've got two sedans: an 04 5AT with 6k miles, and an 05 6MT with 2k miles. I do have a few minor annoyances, but overall these are by far the best cars I have owned. My biggest complaint is the fact that I loved the 04 so much that I did the financially stupid thing to get another one. I can't get enough of the power; I just wish I had enough money to go FI.

I wish it got better mileage, but I'm getting a little better than 19mpg city/hwy combined(though I must admit that the majority of the highway miles is rush hour traffic), and I stay in those gears a looooong time.

The bose just plain sucks. I consider myself an audiophile, and I am very disappointed by this "premium" stereo. There is no high end, the low end is muddy at best, and the mids have an extremely small stage. Frankly the stereo sounds like a cheap $40 boombox behind a thin paper wall. I can't complain enough about that piece of crap. To top it off, you have to pay upwards of $500 for a ****** double-din converter, and install costs are through the roof if you want aftermarket amps(more than usual).

The last thing I have to mention is the cup holders. What in the hell are you supposed to put in those things?
