Wax Dust

I seem to always get lots of dust after I wax. Someone suggested I wash the car again after waxing. Any other suggestions?

Yes, use a microfiber towel and try a different type of wax. I use P21s carnuba wax, which leaves no dust at all.

Use Zaino, it doesn't leave a dust either

Use Zaino Z2 Pro from www.zainostore.com. Nothing works better.

What type of wax are you using? You may be letting it dry too long if you are using a carnauba or using a little too much at one time.

I think he means the car attracts a lot of dust after a wax, am I wrong?

After letting the wax (polish) set for an hour or so, I do a cold water wipe down with a microfiber towel.

I did see a website where a guy used Zaino on one side of the hood and Klasse (I believe) on the other side. After a few days the Zaino side had attracted more dust (it appears different waxes may tend to attract dust). He tested most of the waxes you read about on this message board. I'll see if I can post a link.

looks like he used Malms on the other side. I'll still continue to use Zaino...even though it may attract more dust.

I do notice my sedan coverd with Zaino does appear to attract a fair amount of dust. I might change to Klasse next application and see if there is a difference.
