if you spent the same amount, and no more on another car, what would it be?

I don't know why i see so many people putting down is350. Way more expensive than the G. My friend just paid $38k for an is250. Granted...the interior is on a completely different level than our cars, but its slow as ****, and dealers aren't negotiating below MSRP. At least for another couple months, anyway.

I just traced the G for a Legacy, love the Scoobie! The G would not move out of my new driveway with a coating of snow.Originally Posted by MiamiG35sedan

Direct replacement for the G (in order of preference):
subaru legacy gt (I liked the car, but I liked the standard equipment on the G better; still an excellent car -- especially after an ECU reflash!)
slightly used (e.g.: somebody couldn't afford it, sold with like 5-15k mi on it) is 350 (I considered the is 350 when buying the G, but I didn't like the way and drives and was quoted for at least $5,000 over what I would have paid for the G; so new IS would be more expensive then the G)
2005 or so low-mileage is 300
Low mileage E46 330i
VW R32
Two FWD cars, that besides the Lotus Elan, I could own: Nissan Altima 3.5, Acura TL
If I had another car for a daily driver and a two car garage to myself:
Used NSX
350Z
Third generation RX-7 (FD)
A very well built (new or rebuilt engine with ceramic apex seals, turbo-back exhaust, upgraded turbo components and higher boost, Mariah motorsports widebody kit) second generation RX-7 (FC):

A likewise well built second generation MR-2 turbo (perhaps an N/A MR-2 with a low-mileage or brand new JDM 3sgte swapped in)

....Ummmm..well then I'd get the M35...or the new coming GTR....
M45 looks good......BMW M3..or 5....might look at a Mustang GT....or
get the Honda SK2000. I dunno about a Corvette.....but might try one.
Even a Porshe.....or 350Z.
But for pure mileage and low mantainence....a Honda civic...with NAV.

I came from an 03 Cobra, and would be happy going back to one after I finish school or can pay the G off.

There are a bunch of possiblilties here but since I
love fast/cool wheels I'd have to go with the new
'07 Hemi Challanger or '07 Camero. Between the
two would depend on fit/finish, both have good drive
trains. If the Camero was put togeather like the GTO
which I thought was sh!tty I'd jump on the Challanger.
