optima battery in sedan?
Anybody know the specs on the OEM sedan battery? I know it's an 80D26L, but i find CCA specs anywhere from 445 to 582, and Ah from 40 to 55. I'm not running any ICE other than a couple extra gauges, just want a lighter replacement battery...but I need to know the OE specs first so I know which Optima/Odyssey to get. Thanks.

Optima D34/78
After reading the threads regarding Optima batteries, I am still not clear if my Optima D34/78 will fit in my G35 coupe. Want to intall a system and already have this battery from my previous car. Do I need an extender? If so, does anyone know where i can purchase one?

Just an update. I finally got around to installing it. On their website, they mention that a bracket is included. Make sure you get it. Or else the battery is too small for the hold downs to work. Unless you rig a big spacer or something. But fits fine and works well.

For reference. See in the notes below. The bracket actually comes with a large bracket with one small add on at the bottom. I tried using both but it was too tall. Remove the small one and it's perfect. When I first received the battery, it didn't come with one so I had to ask for it after the fact. Might save time to make sure you ask for the bracket specifically when ordering.
