Well I dropped of the G for the 22.5k service @ Infiniti of Lisle, IL. I heard only great things about them. They are also going to check the heater on the pass seat and a idle noise from the tranny. We will see...

As for the loaner, 2006 Silver/ Tan G35x.

The interior is more refined then my 03.5 but it is pretty much the same.

I love the bluetooth capabilities and the telescoping steering wheel. The x seems to EAT gas tho.

Same here. Only the '06+ comes with bluetooth.

 

HA! I have an '05 G35X loaner today (beige color). I'm getting my front compression rods replaced under warranty today. I have an '04 sedan w/ some mods...let's just say I'm very impressed with what Infiniti has done w/ the '05 sedans....the exhaust note is a lot more aggressive than the stock '04. It is almost as aggressive as mine w/ my mods....yet there is now low RPM note under load...pretty quiet. I'm very envious now to those w/ '05's, as I didn't know what I was missing out on until now! Though I don't like the center console radio controls nor the clock setup...I like my '04 better.

I agree, the exhaust tone is a little more agressive and I wasn't too fond of the climate, dash layout.

I did like the brushed steel they used in the console, the silver/chrome arms on the clock, and the nicely padded door armrest.

That's okay ferarrimaniac......they'll hook you up next time...it's just the luck of the draw....I was there @ the same dealership 3 weeks ago & I had an I35 also....I like test driving different cars anyways...
