Heated Seat Solution

Has Infiniti come up with a solution to the heated seat issue in the 2007. I got mine just before Christmas and have had no heated seats the entire time. When I call Infiniti they just tell me they don't have a solution yet.

No solution, and from what Infiniti Canada told me it doesn't sound like they're working on one either.

There seems to be a theory that the wiring harness was assembled incorrectly.

I remember one of the posters saying something to this effect. I'm going to be taking mine in to Nashua relatively soon for a speedo needle light that goes out randomly, and will have them check the harness with a multimeter and see what they find.

Hyatt Infiniti dismissed that theory quicker than I could get it out of my mouth.

my salesman called me just now. i said i liked the car with the exception of the very poor gas mileage and the heated seats problem. he mentioned that they now have a solution and it will be another 3-4 weeks. he didn't know any details though, he may have just been lying to me again.

150 degree sunlight doesn't count as heated seats, up here in the GWN my seats can be rock hard in the morning. My driver's seat functions exactly the same on high and low, and the passenger's seat high works only the back of the seat while low heats only the bottom of the seat.

that is initially what they told me. i said that is impossible as they barely worked. they continued to test it (and got complaints from other owners) and realized there was some kind of problem.

Did anyone look in the service manual for a spec or test procedure the service dept can test to? If there isn't one, the heating capability of the seat will be too subjective and there is nothing they can do. It would probably be a customer satisfaction issue that has to get escalated.
