Sunroof Wind Deflector

Does anyone know of a good low profile wind reflector for the sun roof. the noise is just too much. Don't beat me up, function over looks in this case, plus I've seen the OEM one and it's not that bad looking, but I'd like to find one that's a little more low profile.

Thanks,.

same here. too bad the engineers went to lunch when they designed this sunroof. lets get a groupbuy going!

apart from the noise, does everyone's sunroof open all the way? it seems like mine could have opened another inch or 2.

yea this really is one noise sunroon...even when its tilted up that thing is friggin loud. But i really dislike wind deflectors alot. I wonder if theres on that goes almost inside the room similar to what my 05 maxima had.

I was just thinking this yesterday when driving on the highway how noisy that sunroof is. The dealer had an aftermarket one listed for $795 dollars! Yes, you heard me right. Maybe I read it wrong and it was sunroof included, but my friend saw it too and couldn't believe it. I've used these in the past:

However, I don't see our model listed on their site, so I am unsure what size to get. I also don't think this is considered low profile.

Wind noise

I've noticed this too, but did you know that the noise can be SIGNIFICANTLY reduced if you hold down the metal bar that runs across the front of the opening?

Although, it is ridiculous to drive holding the bar down, so I wonder if there is some kind of fix we could come up with that would be cheaper and better looking than the wind deflector.

Punk --
i came into this thread to post that exact same comment
I was driving home last night from studying at school (at 3am!!!!!!!!!!! ) and im driving down the BQE and the Prospect Expwy here in Brooklyn and i noticed that the noise was unbelievably loud - stuck my hand up and pushed down that metal bar and it was a significant reduction in sound

But lets keep this thread alive cuz im not totally against wind deflectors on sunroofs - but a low profile one would be sick i think!

Fire off a pm or email to Jason at http://www.burtmanindustries.com/

He's good to deal with and usually has this kind of mod.

I've found this one which looks pretty good and seems like it's a lower profile then the OEM, it's $56.08 shipped if you apply the 10% discount code. the mfg is Benevento. doing some searches, seems everyone is happy with it on their cars, none were Infiniti's though.
