Wood

Any of you all get the wood package with your g? If so what do you think, feeling it or a waste of money? If any of you have pics plz post them up for me to see.

I absolutely LOVE the wood. Wouldn't have it any other way. I think it looks very nice with the graphite interior.

I love the wood - pics below. I prefer this over the aluminum hands down.

I have the wood with a wheat interior. I really like it. It makes the car feel a little more plush, and a little less metallic, if that is the right word. Some people like the metal, I like the wood.

The wood is nice, but I actually prefer the look of the washi aluminum. I feel it blends into the interior better, as there are many chrome and black accents. This of course is just my opinion.

I have the rosewood trim and I couldn't be happier. It gives the car a more luxurious feel and just looks amazing with the graphite interior.

i'm glad you guys like what you got but i'm definitely on the other side of the fence here.

washi > wood IMO. looked at both, couldn't do the wood. it didn't look natural in the G. i have the stone interior, and the wood just doesn't work for me.

Wood trim would make me feel 20 years older than I am! I've always associated wood (faux and real) w/ "old white guys". I'm not saying i'm a spring chicken, but my car doesn't have to look old. The washi looks way more natural and sporty in this car.

Ditto, That's my combo. Love the wood, don't dig the Washi. The last loaner I had, had washi. It would not have killed to have it but most seem to have a yellow cast to the aluminum.

To each their own. I love the low gloss fiddle back rosewood, very unique.

I was gonna get the wood because I wanted my interior graphite, but since I got a stone interior, I felt the aluminum matched it pretty well... Still thinkin' about it though, maybe I'll get the add on when I go in for my 1000 mile oil change. Gonna get some tints done too.

I am a 44 year old white male. I don't know if you consider that to be old or not, but I do like the wood.

The wood isn't bad, but it has taken some time for it to grow on me from looking at pics. What I like about the wood is the relatively low gloss finish, the high gloss lexus-like finish just looks cheap to me.

That being said I opted for the Washi because it is just more appealing to me. Though it's not like I had much of a choice with the S.

Well, I'm just a few steps behind you, Zorak and NO, I do not consider 44 old. Just saying the wood looks a little stodgy, whereas the AL is a more contemporay material. Enjoy your wood , old man j/k
