20" wheels make for a LOT of rotational inertia.

I came from a 350Z as well and, at least via magazine racing, this is faster in a straight line. It's a lot smoother and quieter so it's much less dramatic while accelerating. I haven't autocrossed it yet so I'm not sure how well it handles in comparison.

It has to be the quickest or for sure one of the quickest 4 door sedans in it's price range. Now if you want a 500 hp Mercedes AMG you are going to have to pay a bunch more money.

Is it fast? Compared to my modified 911 turbo HECK NO, but for a four door sedan yes it is fast.

i agree to a certain extent... i mean when i took the test drive i was blown away -- literally.. then i took delivery, babied it for 1200 miles and then broke the seal.. i mean this baby could boogie and i loved it... now i'm at 7600 miles and there are times where i'm just not feeling it, but i look down and i'm doing 80 when i was just at a red light..... the point is i'm getting "used" to that feeling i used to get when i accelerated... but the speed is definitely still there... stop driving the car for a few weeks, maybe even a month, and then get back in the drivers seat, i bet you'll feel like you just took the first test drive

I think the car in itself is not slow... but the way it comes across it feels heavy which gives impression that its slow. I have driven my friends 06 3-series... and it definitely feels a lot lighter then the G... but when you look at the official weights they are about the same.

it's all a matter of perspective, i spent yesterday driving a friends '93 sixty special, (and his gf's '81 camero). my "slowest of the g's" feels damn fast in comparison (actually is too...).
