Yeah I know that was the original goal, however it was discussed earlier in the thread that for now the shifter sits no lower. My point is its still worth it.

AFAIK, the M35 and M45 have the shift **** with black stitching while the M45S has the shift **** with the white stitching.

The one with Black Stitching is a little more expensive then the Sport ****...

The shift boot on the Sport shift **** still has Black stitching.

After living with the M **** for a few weeks I have to say it was one of the better mods Ive done. Ive gotten many compliments on it, with the white stiching and how it matches the seats. When I show people the old **** they almost dont believe me that it was the original one. "THat has no style whatsoever" "ugly" and "what were they thinking" are all comments Ive heard. The M **** makes the interior feel much nicer. If only I could get rid of the violet accents...

Has anyone on this thread had a chance to sit in an EX35? I was at the dealer yesterday and checked it out. It has a much lower shift lever (more of a short shift look) for the automatic. I don't know how the mechanics are different, but it might be worth checking out.

The car is also a little taller...

But, I can look into that shifter assembly fitting into the G... Was planning on it when I first saw it...

We have the EX's in our show room if anyone wants to come look...

I think everyone needs to get over the shortness and just put the **** in. Like I said, big improvement.

To me, it's not worth the money if it isn't at least an inch lower. It hurts my wrist as it is to rest my hand on the stocker because it is so tall. But that's just my opinion.
