Compass?

you can turn the clock off on the nav screen.
i kinda like not having a compass in the rear view mirror. even if i didn't have navigation, i think i'd prefer not having that on the mirror.

Yes, thats also redundant having the clock on the navi as well. I switched the Navi clock off, I think Infiniti probably gave the drivers the option since some people would probably prefer to use the digital clock.

Ok, I finally figured this out..sorry for anyone who knew the answer..the reason the compass is 'pointing' that way is because it is pointing to where north is. You have the option selected for your pointer to always be facing up..so the compass with the red tip..points to where north is, which is different from the actual direction you may be traveling..unless of course you are going north. If you chose to have north be up in your map options, your rearview mirror compass and the nav system would be the same.
