The nomenclature changed from 07 to 08 so that the 08 Journey can be equipped with the LSD with the sport package: otherwise known as the Journey Sport in 08 but the S in 07. the S in 08 refers to the 6MT transmissions.

The sports package will include at least these in the 08: unique front facia, larger sidesills, larger brakes, paddle shifters, staggered wheel setup with summer tires and 18" rims, the S badge, and LSD.
