Help on Rims
I did some searching on google and the forums and even scrolled through hundreds of pics to find rims that would look good on my G that is within my price range, but still no luck...
I drive a 08 G35x and after reading some posts about rims i know that i should not go staggered and that i should keep the other dimensions as close as possible to my OEM wheels because of the VDC and AWD
I have a Liq Plat 08 G35x the grill is blacked out and i will be blacking out the headlights as well. i would like to keep the prices under 1.5k.
Just want something to turn heads (not like the G doesn't already) nothing too flashy
Here are some pics of my car
I was looking into ENKEI and XXR, but i dont know how those rims are.
I am looking for any suggestions
Thanks!

Look into Forgestar F14's. They are fairly light for the spec and should be within your price range. Also, used wheels are a great option as well. Try searching in the marketplace and also on other forums such as myg37.com since the sedan offsets are similar to the newer coupes.
Good luck w/ ur search!

Did you try websites like tirerack.com where you can pick and see the wheels on your car?
I am pretty sure you can run a staggered setup as long as all 4 tires have the same circumference. It just makes it very difficult to rotate them to keep the tire wear even as required for any AWD vehicle. With all 4 tires the same size you can typically make them last longer.

There's some pretty good deals on some 18" sport wheels (from the 07-08s) in the marketplace. I always like the look of those on the sedans, classy but not too flashy. The staggered setup WILL work on your X as far as diameter goes, not sure about the offsets though. I'm sure it's been done.

so i looked through tirerack and i came up with some options and was wondering if you all heard anything about these wheels or would like to throw you 2 cents on how the G would look with the rims or any other rims.
Again i am open for all opinions!!!

That's completely false. I have an x and run a staggered setup perfectly fine, just use a tire calculator and do your research on dimensions etc.

From what I know I'll explain in a nutshell. VDC can't tell how wide your tires are, it only tracks circumference/rolling diameter. With that being said, I'll use my setup as an example. Front tires are 245/35/20 rear tires are 285/30/20. Plug that into a tire calculator and you get this:
Look at the first two columns for 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 then find circumference/diameter. If you notice, they are nearly identical, a difference of ~1-2 mm which is nothing. The rule of thumb is to have no more than a ~1-3% difference for a staggered setup. Also, if you note the 3rd column, most people who run staggered 20's (usually f8.5 r10) run 245 in the front and 275 in the rear. Reason I chose 285 was because the dimensions on the 285 are more identical to the 245 compared to the 275. Hope this helps.
