need some opinions

I was getting an alignment yesterday (post BC coil install) and looked at the back of my car and said hmm.. I hate these tail lights. So I ripped the tint off while it was on the stand.

But I knew I was not going to leave them red, I dont like the brightness compared to the rest of my black and white theme.

This is what It looks like now

And this is what Im thinking of doing. An nice deep shade of red instead of black. I will have them painted by 180 to do it the correct way. and what do you think of the no Mt Fuji? That (debadge, paint the fuji and move it down) was the first mod I did and at the time I thought it was too blank without it but now with the black diffuser and everything I seem to like it.. what do you think?

Very subtle but looks nice, not worth the money IMO, but if you like it, that's all that counts! (And I am a cheap bastard too). I'm more into function > form myself, so I don't get dimming any of your lights, esp headlights, as I'd rather spend time and money making them brighter not dimmer

my headlights are bright as **** already haha and I would never tint them the inside housings are painted though and I have clear lenses and clear lense projector fogs with 5k HIDS all around haha. And also just debadged my Mt Fuji.. record 4 minutes and 23 seconds.. im way to good at this..

how did you do your HID fogs? Did you take your headlights apart to get projectors in there, or just get one of those conversion kits that uses the stock halogen reflector? That's a mod I'd like to do, but I'm not so keen on baking my headlights to open them up.

nevermind, I forgot you added new ones to the bumper:

I definatly like it better now without the logo.. looks cleaner.. is cleaner lol. as for the tails they were just dirty before they were shiny overlay. and yes they will be painted with automotive spray in a booth and will be polished . all i need after that is my rims, more low, diffuser, and my front bumper project!

i actually like the darker red... possibly even a little darker than your pic. I was playing with this idea awhile back cuz im not a fan of smoked tails, especially overlays.

TBH ive never been a fan of the GTR style.. makes it look a bit cheap to me idk why.. But I would do the reverse cut out for sure.. I did that on my overlays and I liked it so I will carry that over..
