2011 g37 console in my 08 - done!

Looks nice, aside from the mismatched wood/metal trim. I actually like the wheel and shifter more than the console itself. While yes it looks nice, it doesn't look any better than the original console. I just don't get why you would spend all the time and money to get something that is barely any different at all (aside from the wood vs. aluminum).
When I had my loaner '11 for a week, I remember thinking how slight the changes were they made to the interior. I guess if you're looking for something to spend your free time on, it's cool...but I just don't understand the appeal of doing this "upgrade"...

Jelloman:
IIRC, it was around $375 for the steering wheel re-wrap. http://www.dallassteeringwheel.com/about.htm
Don is pretty much THE guy for this - all the Porsche guys go to him.
If you do go for it, lmk, I can provide some tips on the install. It's easy.

That central console install looks awesome. I wish our heated switched would be compatible with the dial ones. I also have been looking at the changing from the 2008 low-res to high-res 10+ screen. But i would have to change alot being non-nav vehicle. But also gave me a whole new look at the wood trim. I have an 08 G35 Sedan Journey with the wishi trim and i am really thinking of looking into wood trim.
