I just received my first traffic ticket in New Jersey for running a red light while driving my G35 Coupe, and I’m really worried about it. I’m not sure how to handle it. I have heard that such tickets can lead to increased insurance rates or even points on my license. Any advice on how to address this situation or avoid similar issues in the future? hey man i dont run reds, but in theory if i were to, i would look both ways, maybe even stopping for a second or two to make sure no one is there, especially a police officer. i wouldnt fight it in court youd look like a bafoon and the judge would laugh at you, pulling up the footage of you running it. maybe ticketclinic could help. but your just a little bit closer to a suspended license that's all no big deal really just only run them if it feels right, you can get your fix in at stop signs as well, it works well i hear.
