AC blowing HOT air!

i have a 05 AT coupe with 43xxxmiles on it. i just turned on da AC today and it started blowing hot air. so maybe i thought it was cuz i haven't been using it all winter so i sat there and waited for a while and it was kept on blowing hot air! and when i turn da AC on i can hear da AC compressor kicking it. so what could it b?!?!? i'm thinking i need to go charge da freon. but it worked fine last year. i searched and searched in da tech section and i couldn't find anything about AC blowing hot air. i need 2 fix this b4 summer comes cuz where i live it gets over 100 degrees in summer! thanx guys!

I agree. First check your radiator fluid level. Next, you may want to think about getting your A/C system checked for leaks. Sure you could get it recharged but if there is a leak, you will be back to square one sooner than later. Good luck!

ya my radiator fluid level is low but not below da line. so i don't think thats not it. today i tried 2 turn da AC on again and for like da first couple seconds cool air blew and then it turned into hot. i just changed stock intake box 2 popcharger couple times past month cuz i had 2 take my car in for powertrain warranty work done. maybe i disconnected something there?!? is there anything major by da intake?!?

you could have an air bubble in your system. Do you hear any bubbling or boom sound when you turn on you AC/heater?

my 2003.5 started having this problem at the first on after winter. Infiniti dealer told me I need the compressor and belt for $1400. Did I hear right? $1150 just for compressor.

I realized I have a tiny hole in my line. Can it be fixed or does the entire line needs to be replaced?
