So i just installed Megan Racing Resonated Test Pipes, a Kinetix Racing V+ Plenum and a Nismo CAI. First off I'm thinking about tuning my ECU but i was wondering can i tune the ECU with the mods i have now and an HKS exhaust then in about a year put my exhaust on? or should i just tune the ECU twice? Another thing is with all these breathing mods my cars idle dropped a little, once in a while it drops a little below 500 and almost stalls, hasnt stalled yet though. if i reflash the ECU would there be a way to up the idle? or is there another way to up the idle? Lastly my SES light came on is there a way to trick the 02 sensors? i already have the non-foulers on. just looking for another way.

i don't know if a tune is needed, thats many mods that require more fuel, many people have those mods or similar w/out an expensive tune. as for the idle, did you reset your ECU?

yup reset the ECU, idle seems fine and acceleration and deceleration is smooth just once in a while it dips just below 500 and almost stalls then goes back to normal, but i talked to scott and when i reprogram my ECU i can up the idle to around 800 so it stays a little higher then stock.

are there any systems that i can plug right in and i can tune myself? my friend has a dakota and hypertech makes a handheld computer

that you plug into your ECU (i think) and the it asks you questions, like if you have intake, exhaust etc. then it tunes your car depending on what you have. this would make things easier.

or would something like this solve my problems?

the only thing is i dont think i use this by myself.

don't know much about the first two options but there is technosquare and aam you will need to send your ecu to them and list your mod's and they will reflash accordingly, then there is unichip and cobb tuning these two are more like what your are looking for then if you go fi there's greddy e-mange,utec,hks f-con v pro and haltec.

yeah i contacted technosquare, waiting for their response. If its cheaper then i think then i will just go with them, but if expensive then i figure i might as well go with something like that unichip. but i would only buy the unichip or cobb tuning chip if i can do it myself or i know guarantee a shop here can help me. but thanks thats exactly what i was looking for.

You have to push in the clutch when you come to a stop.

This should help:

Hey, I got mine reflashed with techosquare. I Just sent them a list of mods and to program for a future 9psi pully, they sent it back overnight. My first tune with 6 psi pully was 335whp without reflash. Sent it off, then the second was 350whp with reflash. Bought the 9 psi pulley, 381whp. The reflash accomodated everything never had to send it back. Once you are a customer and you need to send it back for another reflash they only charge $115.00 each time you send it. But the tech is good, any issues you have he'll let you know before you send it to save money. They're a little cheaper then AAM but quality is the same and they are in Cali not east coast so sending and receiving mail get there quicker. Call them before you send it to ask questions,
www.technosquareinc.com (correction). Packing instructions, diagram for uninstalling of ECU, forms all are on the website. Don't know about anybody else but reflash worked for me. oH, I used the angled 02 eliminators, worked perfectly CEL never came on after test pipe install.
