Looking to soften the growl from exhaust note

Yeap, I want it to sound like a family car. Meaning Quiet.

My 03.5 G35 sedan is completely stock. I dont know if I need an entire new exhaust system or if I can add something minor or make a small adjustment to have the exhaust note much less assuming.

Thoughts?

Get a Lexus and you'll hear the difference. Not much can be done for our cars since most if not all of us like to open up the exhaust tone till it's music to our ears

If I go to a muffler shop, should they have this on hand? Cost?

I've enjoyed it for years. Still love the G, but want something a bit more tame. Just want to tweak the exhaust.

Sedan exhaust too loud? I don't even recall the sedan even having an exhaust note to soften. When i saw the title i figured you had the coupe which has a noticeable note which i can see being too loud for some folks, but a sedan? You're better off getting a new car because it's not gonna get much quieter than a 1st gen sedan.

You make a good point. This mod is oppo what most will do here. Just hoping someone is knowledgeable enough to recommend something.

Sedan note is tamer than coupe.

"You're better off getting a new car" <--- That makes sense. Sigh.
