Swapped Injen CAI for Z tube

Re: Swapped Injen CAI for Z tube
OK now that I have ACTUALLY modified the G tube to be an almost Z tube GDAMMIT the growl is good! I realized that the top resonator actually was a resonator after pulling the bottom one off and thinking I was done. The hole plug for the top resonator makes this mama come alive! I just went out for a run in the 75 degree post thunderstorm evening MAN. After the airbox mod with some new rubber sealinj around it and some modifications to my custom hood liner to allow some more air in where I had too much in the way...jeez oh K&N rocks
...forget the Injen I'm done with it.
This sound is better - less strain at the top -- better sound down low - not so mustang GT. The pull is just as much there as with the Injen if not better. Slightly so but the airbox mod and K&N are good for a couple HP I believe. Keeping the Z tube!

i knew that the stock intake set up was already pretty good, and from the dynos from the Florida guys, there wasn't much gain, if any, by going after market..Florida dyno guys, chime in anytime!

Evo Kid - that car sounds bad to the bone....If i had a coupe I would buy that exhasut just for the sound and look....schweeeeet. I could hear him BEING GENTLE on the throttle driving down chemical road a couple of lights. I stopped trying to hear hom before I went in dam store! You guys need to mod the intake like we are...
Also if you go to ardmore inifiniti the guys in the shop DIG your setup - they were ranting about it a couple mos ago.
