Is this "metallic" sound always there with the V2s?

To bump this thread.
Went through 3 of these things, each time the resonators broke loose and rattled like a fat lady in burger king.

I'd rather get something of better quality in my opinion.

check some of my old videos with my car when I used to have them on- I never noticed any metallic sounds when driving in or out of the car.

Bought them through Mrwong@statik and they are great +1 for Henry and sweet price. When I installed the V2 test pipes my SES light came on and I scanned it with my AccessPort and got two codes from it P0430 & P0420. I have been driving like this for about three months now, will it hurt the motor? I have the stage 2+ map installed from Cobb does anybody have any suggestions?

I had the CEL also when I installed the test pipes. I simply added another set of non-foulers, reset the ECU and hasn't came back since.

I have had the V2's on since Aug and no cel here, a lil rasp but I already knew that it was going to give it some but the tone is still great!!! Now to break this nut on the backside of my y-pipe to throw on the HR y-pipe. Maybe that will help out some

Thanks for the advice!, I also contacted Cobb and there tech sent me another Map for my car. I will try the new Map and see the results if it doesn't work then I will install another set of non-foulers.

i think the reason why the cel light came on with some of us is that the first few miles it needs to seal abit and we just were soo exited with the new noises that we burnt the o2 sensors, thats what im expecting to find, but anyways there is another thread about the cel light coming on and tryring to diagnose it. i did remember a smell of sumthing cooking under the car the first few days after installing the test pipes.

I got a new map from Cobb Tunning and it has been two weeks now and no SEL light. He said a lot of time when the computers senses something different it will usually throw your SEL light to let you know something has changed recently. My car is running like a champ so far and with the new map I am loving the power.
