Rasp doesn't go away entirely no, there will be light rasp as higher RPM. smell will get slightly less, but it will of course still be there.

What do you mean what did I notice, soundwise or performancewise, or smellwise? Elaborate for me and I'll get back to you.

In sound and performancewise does it change over time or pretty much the same but less raspy?

Sound: yes became a bit less raspy later on.
Performance: nothing like "OMGVTECCCWTFFFZOMG****TITSHOTWOW" but I did notice a bit more oomph at low end especially and moderate gains throughout the entire rpm range. When I put my stock cats back on (temporarily) it definitely felt a drop in oomph in the low rpms that is for sure.

Whenever I had my stock catback exhaust on I could smell my exhaust but when I added the Injen SES Track exhaust it went away.

@Alex, I had mine on for 6mths now (V2 megan) There's a DIY for resetting ur ECU online, once ur done installing ur foulers. I've found the EXACT same foulers at autozone for $7 instead of $15 at CZP. Also for me, after i installed my MREV2 i've notice the rasp went from loud to minimal. It was VERY noticable! 3-4k rpm is where the rasp would be at, w/ the mrev2 it's still there but just NOT as loud. Also keep an eye on ur oil level.

I had the Megan and they were great with my HKS exhaust. The rasp was little to almost none. My neighbor used to tell me that my car sounded like a supped up Porsche. The only reason I took them of was because my wife did not like the smell.

What kind of cat-back exhaust are you running?

That's just it lol, I just have a coupe middy and magnaflow muffler but once I pay off my dwi I plan On getting Megan racing cat back for my sedan. Im just kinda sketch because Megan racing pipes are so cheap but all I hear is good things about them. There some top speed cats for sale for cheap but idk. Im leanin towards Megan now. I would really like fas intentions or sebree tuning but their expensive and can't find any.

I ran them on the OEM setup and the Injen Track SES. I liked them, but I really like the ART V2's pipes way better. They are much more expensive than the Megan TP's, but the sound and power I think is worth it. When I went back to stock before I sold the coupe, I missed the power and sound that it produced. I could really feel a difference. But again, the Megan TP's are good for the $$ spent on them, it had a slight rasp, not much though with the OEM setup, but with the Injen it went away. but the droning set in with the Injen setup. Injen is notorious for droning, and I swapped out the Megan TP's with the ART V2's and also added in a magnaflow resonated X-pipe. They both helped out a lot, but it still droned like crazy but the outside tone was awesome, very deep and loud throughout the power band. I know I got off track a lil bit here, but they will work great for you.

Haha it's cool man, thanks for your help! I would love some art pipes but I can't affored them. So you think Megan pipes would be good for now? I plan on doing the cat back someday. So do you have a sedan now? Since you sold the coupe. What's your set up now
