Berk HFC's installed and drone at 2K

I did not have the drone before I put the HFC's on so how can you say the catback is the problem???? In reading other posts people that have switched to test pipes/HFC's have drone also at 2K so wouldn't that indicate the test pipes/HFC's are the issue?
I would understand the drone with test pipes as there is nothing but a pipe there but thought with CC material there is would muffle/stop droning.

I wouldn't' say you're doing something wrong. Exhaust systems acti different when they free up more flow. (Add HFCs, TPs, straight pipes)
Some drone some don't. It all depends on the exhaust system. I have Fast Intentions Intimidator and it drones some with my HFCs.
Used to bother me alot at first but I got used to it and actually learned how to drive with manual mode a lil better to avoid some of that drone
I'll have to record some newer in cabin clips
here's an old clip right after I got the exhaust installed....

here's an older clip right after I got the berks + hr y pipe combo (on stock exhaust)

It is enough that my wife commented on it and said it is louder...it is right at the 2k and it "booms" and then settles down...I will try the manual shifting to see if that helps, I read that they do get quieter as they break in but no one seems to know how long the break in period is.
It has been a busy week for the G, new tires, HFC's, spark plugs and the GT Sped STB..
